Outdoor Trek
On Saturday, while Jenelle was camping in Lake Geneva with her AWANA group, I drove up to Waukesha for a "Bike & Hike" event sponsored by the Evangelical Child & Family Agency (ECFA). I ran about 5k. According to my stopwatch, it only took me 25:04 to finish. I'm thinking that I actually ran a distance shorter than 5k, because it took me 30 minutes to run a 5k in Sturtevant on Thursday, and I wasn't really pushing my limits on Saturday.
I once again met up with Danny Clayton and D Steward from 105.3 The Fish. They remembered me from Joe's Run last September, so it was neat to catch up with them and talk about my exercise habits. They even noticed that I've lost weight (about 32 pounds in 16 weeks for those of you keeping track).
I have pictures from this event, and I'll get them on the web sometime this weekend. For those of you who like to read more news from Jenelle, I'll try and get her to do a write-up of her camping trip.
