Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

For Jenelle, Wednesday night is AWANA night. She travels to Winnetka Bible Church to be a leader to a group of 10 sixth grade girls. Tonight was a special occasion -- awards night. I joined Jenelle on her weekly trek to help her celebrate the completion of another year with her students and colleagues. Here's a shot of Jenelle in her AWANA uniform with two of her girls. I'm proud to say that Jenelle won an award for being the person who traveled the furthest each week. It was great to meet the other leaders that she works with on a regular basis. They're all very nice!

Jenelle will be traveling to Covenant Harbor Bible camp this weekend with other leaders and 12 girls who completed their AWANA assignment books. Perhaps we'll have some photos of that for you next week.
